This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information and Platform Data when you use BotOverload.

1.2 Platform Data from Meta Products

When you connect your social media accounts, we collect and process Platform Data as defined by Meta's Platform Terms, including:

  • Customer inquiries, responses, and conversation metadata
  • Timestamps, message IDs, and delivery status information
  • Media files (images, videos, documents) shared in conversations

Profile and Contact Information

  • Customer profile information (names, profile pictures, usernames)
  • Contact details shared voluntarily by customers
  • User preferences and interaction history with your business

Analytics and Performance Data

  • Message delivery rates, response times, and engagement metrics
  • Customer journey data and conversion tracking
  • Campaign performance and automation effectiveness data

2. How We Use Your Information

2.1 Service Provision and Platform Integration

Core Service Operations

  • Authenticate and authorize access to your connected social media accounts
  • Process and route messages between customers and your business
  • Execute automated responses and workflows according to your configurations
  • Maintain integrations with WhatsApp Business API, Instagram Graph API, and Facebook Graph API

AI-Powered Automation

  • Analyze conversation patterns to improve automated responses
  • Train AI models to better understand customer intent and context
  • Generate intelligent replies and product recommendations
  • Optimize response timing and delivery methods

2.2 Platform Data Processing

In compliance with Meta's Platform Terms, we process Platform Data solely for the following permitted purposes:

  • Routing inquiries to appropriate departments or automated systems
  • Maintaining conversation history for context and follow-up

2.3 Prohibited Uses of Platform Data

We strictly prohibit and do not engage in the following practices with Platform Data:

  • Discrimination: We do not process Platform Data to discriminate based on protected characteristics
  • Eligibility Determinations: We do not use Platform Data for housing, employment, credit, or insurance decisions
  • Surveillance: We do not process Platform Data for law enforcement or surveillance purposes
  • Data Sales: We never sell, license, or purchase Platform Data

By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to these jurisdictions, which may have different data protection laws than your home country.

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data:

  • Deletion: You may request the deletion of your data, subject to our retention obligations.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements.
